One Cocowalk, Coconut Grove’s new Class A office building scheduled for delivery in July, has added Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial, LLC (WWHGD) to its prominent tenant roster.
WWHGD will occupy 13,539 square feet on the penthouse floor of the 85,745-square-foot property and will join a list of prominent businesses set to move into One Cocowalk, including creative co-working pioneer Spaces and private equity firm Boyne Capital.
“Coconut Grove with its prime location, just moments away from Miami’s principal business hubs, has proven to be the ideal location for our firm,” says Larry Burkhalter, managing partner of the Miami office. “As Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial continues to expand its international trial and transactional practice, so has our need for additional office space. One Cocowalk’s central location, upscale finishes, and easy access to dozens of retail and dining options has made this building a natural choice for us.”
The law firm was represented by Bill Weghorst, Madison Marquette Leasing Inc. and Mike Warren, Newmark Knight Frank, in the lease negotiations, while One Cocowalk was advised by Blanca Commercial Real Estate.
“We are pleased to welcome Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial as the newest addition to One Cocowalk’s office tenant roster,” said Tom Roth, principal of Grass River Property. “Our location in Coconut Grove’s commercial core lends itself well to companies looking to avoid the congested Brickell and Downtown markets, while still reaping the benefits of highly amenitized, Class A office space in a prime, walkable location.”
With this latest lease signed, office space at One Cocowalk is becoming increasingly limited. Office spaces still available for lease range from approximately 2,000 square feet to 3,800 square feet, including two suites at roughly 3,500 square feet each on the Penthouse floor. Amenities at the Class A office building will include dedicated elevators connecting office users with private parking, 24/7 security, a full-service, on-site gym and access to the building’s rooftop terrace and event space.
