Condo sales volume in Miami-Dade County rose last week, while total dollar volume dipped slightly.
Brokers closed 199 sales last week, up from 181 the week prior. Total dollar volume reached $120 million, versus $122 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $604,000, down from $675,000. The average price per square foot also dropped to $478 from $514, according to data from condo.com.
Last week, a Grove at Grand Bay condo in Miami snagged the top spot at $5 million. Consuelo Stewart with Shelton and Stewart had the listing. Tristan Alexander with Compass Florida represented the buyer. The condo spent 231 days on the market and closed at $1,226 per square foot.
The runner-up was a sale at St. Regis Bal Harbour. Unit 704S at 9701 Collins Avenue sold for $4.5 million — or $2,329 per square foot — after three days on the market. Scott Gerow with Compass Florida had the listing, and Jelena Grady with Trust Invest Real Estate represented the buyer.
